My Experience and Qualifications

I’ve been designing websites for over ten years and have experience in many different web technologies. As a ‘day job’ this is mainly in corporate websites for county councils – see my previous work page for further details. I do however create websites for sole traders and small businesses in my own time as it supplements my income and I really enjoy doing it!

More About Me

Well, what can I say! I enjoy stamp collecting, train spotting, and collect cagoules…only joking.

Not that there’s anything wrong with the above of course (I’m ever the diplomat).

My name is Jim Atkinson and I’m a 30-something living in Wellingborough, Northants, in the UK with my two lovely kids and wife.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading car magazines, playing guitar, going to the gym, seeking out and buying obscure music, watching films, drinking real ale, white wine (NZ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a favourite at the moment), good food and lots more – much like you.

I’m also a keen web designer. I developed a tourism website and was webmaster for that for several years before moving on, and was bitten with the bug. I’m now interested in learning more about WordPress and how these can be used to power affordable websites for sole traders and local businesses.
